Massage therapy is one of the oldest and simplest ways of healing. Its name comes from the Arabic word „MASSA”, which means touch. Touch is the essence and foundation of massage. For people, touch is of vital importance because it provides safety, warmth, pleasure and comfort, and restores vital energy.
The roots of the Western type of massage lie in anatomy and physiology. In the human body nothing works separately and on its own; everything is closely interconnected.
During a massage, receptors in the skin and subcutaneous tissue are stimulated as an effect of the mechanical action, while indirect action along reflex pathways also awakens the entire body. This means that massage has an excellent effect on our health and mood.
At the Rehability Clinic you can enjoy a RELAX massage of the whole body and a partial medical-therapeutic massage. To complete the effect of psychophysical relaxation and healing, the massage itself is enhanced with quality essential oils, a pleasant setting, relaxing music…
Illness itself represents a disturbance or blockage of the flow of energy. Massage cannot cure every illness, but it can certainly improve the general state of the body, ease complaints and speed up the recovery process. Everyone needs relaxation and an escape from everyday life.
