Cookie Policy
How the website uses cookies.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how and why we use them on the website of the REHABILITY Rehabilitation Clinic, which types we place, and how you can manage them. The website is operated by „JOVAN ROGIĆ PR, AMBULANTA ZA REHABILITACIJU REHABILITY SUBOTICA”, Georgija Dimitrova 2A, 24000 Subotica, Serbia.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They allow the website to remember certain information, such as the chosen language, and to work properly. Alongside cookies, we also use related technologies such as your browser’s local storage, which stores data in your browser in a similar way.
How we use them
We use cookies to provide the website’s core functions and protection against abuse, to remember the chosen language, and, with your consent, to understand how the website is used and how to improve it. We place necessary cookies without consent because they are essential for the website to work, while analytics and similar cookies are placed only after you accept them.
Types of cookies we use
Necessary cookies (always active, no consent required). They are essential for the basic operation and security of the website.
- WordPress (wordpress_*, wp-settings-*): session and security cookies set only for logged-in site editors, not for regular visitors. They last until the end of the session, or up to one year for settings.
- Polylang (pll_language): remembers the website’s chosen language (Serbian, Hungarian or English). Lasts about one year.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: an anti-spam check on the contact form that protects against automated messages. It may set a short-lived technical token; it is designed with privacy in mind and does not track users across different sites.
Analytics cookies (placed only with your consent). They help us measure the number of visits and how the website is used.
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_<container>, _gid): measure visits and site usage in an anonymous, aggregated way. The _ga cookie lasts about two years, and _gid about 24 hours. They are enabled through the Google Site Kit service.
- Google Tag Manager: loads and manages the tags above. It does not set tracking cookies itself, but it enables them to be set.
Third-party cookies
Some website features rely on third-party services, which may set their own cookies or process technical data according to their own privacy policies.
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager): processes data about website usage. The processor is Google Ireland Limited, or Google LLC, with data transfer to the USA carried out on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).
- Cloudflare: provides the Turnstile service to protect the contact form from unwanted messages.
- Mapbox: an interactive location map is loaded on the Contact page. When the map loads, Mapbox may store technical data in the browser’s local storage and log your IP address.
Managing cookies
You can view, delete or block cookies at any time through your web browser’s settings. Most browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) offer options in their privacy and security settings to delete existing cookies and block future ones. Blocking analytics cookies will not break the website, while disabling necessary cookies may affect certain functions, for example submitting the contact form.
Consent
When you first visit the website, we ask for your consent to place analytics and other non-essential cookies. Necessary cookies are placed without consent because they are essential for the website to work. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting cookies in your browser or changing your choice. To learn more about how we process your data, please read our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to keep it aligned with changes on the website or in regulations. The new version applies from the moment it is published on this page, so we recommend that you review it occasionally.
